Obituary:

Walter A. Rosser, 72, of 1220 N. Lawrence Expressway, Sunnyvale, died Thursday at Stanford University Hospital after a lengthy illness. Rosser was a native of Colorado. He moved to Sunnyvale nine months ago.

Rosser worked 30 years for the Colorado Public Service Gas & Electric Co. prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Blanch; a son, William Parks of San Luis Obispo; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Post of Millbrae; and by three grandchildren. Other survivors include a brother and two sisters.

He was the brother of Henry Rosser of Golden, Colo., Mrs. Blanche Vargason of Westminster Colo. and Mrs. Eleanor Barlow of Boulder. Rosser was a member of the Elks Lodge 566 of Boulder.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Carlmont Funeral Chapel, Belmont. Interment fill be at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo..
