TENNIS SECRETARY Weds Bath Old Edwardian Miss Joan (Judy) Bodman, a former member of the Lita-Jane School of Dancing and match secretary of the Green Park Tennis Club, was married on Saturday at Holy Trinity Church, Combe Down, to Mr. Stanley Douglas Young, of 5. Lower East Hayes, Kensington, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.

S. Young. He is an Old Edwardian and -time member of the N.F.S. Miss Bodman is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

E. J. Bodman, of St. Ellen's, Bradford Road, Combe Down. The Rev.

E. J. Roberts officiated and Mrs. G. Fletcher was at the organ.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a duck-egg blue ensemble, with a string of pearls and a veiled black, heart-shaped hat trimmed with ruching and flowers. She carried a bouquet of sweet peas. Her only attendant was a friend, Miss Patricia Mosscrop, who wore a gladioli - pink dress with a flowered snood. Her bouquet was of Duchess of Athol roses. She wore a crystal necklace, the gift of the bridegroom.

Mr. F. C. Young, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. For the honeymoon, which is to be spent at Cheddar, the bride travelled in a turquoise blue silk dress and fawn coat, with black accessories.

They will make their home at St. Ellen's, Bradford Road. From his employers the bridegroom received a cheque, and a chair from the staff. The bride was presented with an oak bookcase by her Civil Service colleagues, and a dinner, service by Green Park Tennis The flowers were by A. J.
