Transcript of Last will and Testament

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Harris of the Parish of Llangwoy in the county of Monmouth farmer I givde and bequeath unto my dear wife Caroline for her own absolute use and benefit the sum of one hundred and thirty pounds which I have ??? to and which is ??? because it is owing to me from my nephew William Williams of ???? I give ?? and bequeath unto my grandson John Harris and my granddaughter Mary Ann Harris the amount of thirty pounds each for their own absolute use rtespectively to be paid to them respectively within twelve calendar months after my decease and I ???? my real estate ??? after devises eith the payment thereof ??? expenses by ??? the said real estate with the payment of all my just costs funeral and testamentary expenses in execution of my personal estate and subject to and miscellaneous ???? as aforesaid I give devise and vbequeath my freehold farm and lands with outstandings and app??? ???? belonging situate in ???? said parish of Llangibby and all other my real estate ?????? and w?soever unto my dear daughter Ann the wife of William Harris of Llangibby aforesaid farmer for ?????? the term of her natural life and ????? after her deceasse I give and devise as the said Ann Harris shall by deed or will only execute appoint and in default of ???? appointment I give and devise the same unto ??? person or persons and for ??? the same unto ??? ?????? the said William Francis for an during the term of his natural lifeif ???? ???? continue ????? ?? and from and after his decease or second marriage devise and bequeaththe said ????? and premises unto and equally between the children of the said Ann Harris as tenants in ????? and not as joint tenants tp their ??? and ???? for ever and give and bequeath unto my said daughter Ann Francis absolutely all ???? and owns of money ?? owing to me from my son-in-law James Lodge and give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Elizabeth daughter of the said Ann Francis all myhouselots goods and furniture farming stock andutensils and all other mu Personal estate not acc??? disposes of for the own absolute use and ??? fit And I hereby appoint my friend Phillip Sconairs of Penrose near Caerleon in the said County of Monmouth farmer sole Executor ofthis my Will and ?????? all other Wills by me at any time ???? to ??? made In Testimony whereof I have accounts subscribes my name and fixed my seal this thirty first day of August one thousand eight hundred and forty six---Thomas Harris--- signed sealed and published and declared by the said exststor as and for his last Will and Testament in the joint prescence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of court other hace sub??? our names as ???? the inte??? between the twenty fourth and twenty fifth lines of the second page having been first made ---- Henry John Davis ??????---- ThosHessick his clerk.

This is a Codicil to the last Will andof ?? Thomas Harris of the Parish of LLandgibby in the County of Monmouth farmer. I ???? my Executoe to allow my wife Catherine Harris to the use of all the household furniture now in the house ???? now for her natural life in addition to any bequest or provision made for her by my said Will and confirm my said Will in all aspects save as it is altered by this Codicil. In ?? On the 2nd February 1847 Administration (with the Will and Codicil annexed) of the goods and chattels and ???? of Thomas Harris late of the Parish of LLangibby in the County of monmouth ???? was granted to the Executorscharles ??? williams clerk The curator or ??? lawfully ????? to Elizabeth Francis spinster a Minor the ???? will for theuse and benefit of the said minor and until the ???? tha age of twenty none years the having been first sworn by commissioner ??? ??? Philllip Sco??ars the sole executor named in the said Will and Codicil and William Francis the natural and lawful father of the said minor having assumed the ??? and guardianship (as ?? acts Court appers).
