Funeral services for Theodore T. "Ted" Rouillard, of Lower Brule, were Monday, September 18, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Lower Brule Community Center with burial in the Holy Comforter Episcopal Cemetery at Lower Brule.
Theodore T. Rouillard was born on March 21, 1935 at Lower Brule, SD to Matilda Estes and Cyril Rouillard. He married Janet Garber. Ted ran his own cattle operation, welding shop and concrete business. In the early 1980's, he served as Council Member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe.
He worked at Lower Brule Housing.
Ted passed away on September 14, 2006 at his home in Lower Brule, SD.
Survivors include his wife Janet Rouillard of Lower Brule; his children: Darla, Brett, Dan, Shawn, Indira, Traci, Toni, Duffy, Jason, Houston, and Tyler; 2 adopted children Dan Roan Eagle and Rozlyn Iron Shell; 31 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Margaret Ann Horned Eagle, Wilma Lavato, and Alice "Chubb" Dillon; and all his nieces and nephews.
