In 1869 Leah (and Edward Morse) were charged with Larceny - stealing from the person of one Elias Morgan, one silver watch and one silver chain, at Lydney on the 18th of May 1869. Morse was found guilty whilst Leah was acquitted. Morse received 3 months imprisonment.
