  General Notes:

John enlisted in the (3rd) Grenadier Guards in 1898 and fought in the Boer War Campaign (1899-1902). He was wounded on 23 November 1899 at Belmont but survived.

In 15 May 1924 Stanley Kilby, son of Thomas Kilby, emigrated to Canada to live with his uncle John Kilby of Bowmansville, Ontario.
